Lân Nguyen is the Managing Partner responsible for all aspects of the firm's business. Prior to founding Anvil in 2007, he spent 15 years as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan, Wasserstein Perella and Houlihan Lokey where he was head of its Technology Investment Banking group on the East Coast and a leader in the firm's technology valuation practice. Lân has held senior positions in Capital Markets (raising debt and equity capital for public and private companies) and Equity Derivatives (structuring financial products and covering hedge funds) and has worked with clients from every continent except Antarctica. He is a graduate of the Wharton School (Pennsylvania) and the Anderson School (UCLA).
Lorrie Petrucci is a Managing Director at Anvil Advisors where she leads the financial reporting valuation practice. She has a diverse background in accounting and finance stretching across a number of industries including Media and Entertainment, Technology, Manufacturing, Insurance and Real Estate. Lorrie started her career with Arthur Andersen as an auditor, moved on to AIG, and was subsequently the VP of Finance for several high‐growth, private software companies in New York City. Lorrie holds a B.A. in Accounting and Information Systems from Queens College and is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
Deanna Montgomery is a Managing Director at Anvil Advisors. Deanna has 25 years of experience in financial services. She previously worked at a private investment management firm investing in private equity funds. Prior to that, Deanna worked at Deloitte in restructuring advisory, and at J.P. Morgan in various roles, including Equity Capital Markets, Private Equity Placements, and MorganLabs investing in early-stage financial technology companies. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Deanna worked at Merrill Lynch in investment banking covering the Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors. Deanna holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University and completed the credit training program at Chemical Bank.
Ezana Bocresion has over 30 years of experience in financial services. In his lengthy career he has run his own Merchant Banking firm, started and sold a private equity firm, co-founded a Boutique Investment Bank in New York, held senior positions in Investment Banking at Bank of America (formerly Merrill Lynch) and J.P. Morgan. Prior to that he worked in Public Accounting at KPMG and Laventhol and Horwath. Ezana has also been an fintech investor with several successful exits. Ezana holds a BSBA degree from Boston University and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
Alexandra Fox Noya
Alexandra Fox Noya is Manager of Operations at Anvil Advisors. She has extensive experience in publishing where she was a Managing Editor at Simon and Schuster, Random House, and Kaplan Test Prep. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Franklin Pierce University. When Alex is not thinking about all things Anvil, she is doing creative projects with her husband and daughter and writing a children's book.
Frasher Ulaj is an Associate at Anvil Advisors. Prior to joining the team, he worked at Shelby.tv and Bark in strategic and financial positions. Frasher brings experience from both sides of the fence, having been both a provider and recipient of valuation analysis. At Anvil, he has led valuation assignments for companies across a wide range of industries and stages of development. Frasher holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College. In his spare time, Frasher actively invests in real estate, travels, enjoys skiing and hiking, and does his best to make it through his Kindle library.
Jacky Yung is a Financial Analyst at Anvil Advisors. Prior to joining the team, he worked at Lanchid LLC and Morgan Stanley in finance and accounting positions. Jacky received a B.B.A in Finance and Investments from Baruch College. His interests include powerlifting, listening to electronic dance music, and following the Washington Capitals.
Aygul Mustafina is a Financial Analyst at Anvil Advisors. Prior to joining the team, Aygul worked as an energy analyst at Aurora Energy Advisors and as a tax advisor at Foodbank NYC, while attending Baruch College. Aygul graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Zicklin Honors Program with a B.B.A. in Finance and Investments, while participating in extracurricular activities such as the IBM Watson competition and CUNY hackathons. She enjoys hiking and exploring Upstate NY, visiting art museums in the city, knitting meetups, and above all else, spending time with her 4 pound Yorkie, Tyson.
